“Stamp Out Cancer in Our Lifetime” remains the mission of the Italian- American Charity Golf Association, whose continued generosity is helping expand cancer care in our community. IA board members Dave Munella and Joe Paterniti recently presented UPMC Chautauqua with a gift to complete their pledge supporting the hospital’s Mammography Department expansion project.
The donation was received by Kristin Melville, Executive Director of the WCA Foundation; Tracy Gates, President of UPMC Chautauqua; and Tammara Hodges, Director of Operations. The expansion will enhance patient-centered breast care through advanced technology, including the addition of a GE E10 ultrasound system. Updates will also improve the comfort, privacy, and overall experience for patients receiving care.
