Doug Haynes and Hunter Dluznieski of North Reading were the second party ever to be seated at Giacomo's Ristorante in Melrose on Monday, minutes after the restaurant's highly anticipated 4 p.m. opening.
Having eaten at Giacomo's in the South End, they were thrilled to learn about a more convenient location north of Boston. "They're great, the food is great," said Haynes. "We've been waiting for this for a long time."
