The Italian Cultural Institute in Miami, in collaboration with the Miami Short Film Festival, is pleased to present the ninth edition of Fare Cinema, the initiative dedicated to promoting the Italian film industry worldwide, coordinated by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 9, at O Cinema South Beach for an evening entirely devoted to contemporary Italian short films. Featured will be four short films nominated for the 2026 David di Donatello Awards in the Best Short Film category—works distinguished by their cinematic quality, originality of vision, and ability to explore, with depth and sensitivity, the challenges, emotions, and transformations of our time.
