Lawyer turned storyteller, David De Pierro is an unlikely media personality. The New Jersey attorney’s debut novel “The Letters I Never Sent” is a confronting novel about learning how to let go of past loves. De Pierro is touring with his book, and is set to appear at the El Rey Theater, Los Angeles, Sunday October 11, having made a sold-out appearance at the Scherr Forum Theatre in Thousand Oaks, after Denver, and now other US cities and Canada.
Two -thirds of the audience were women, who clearly knew of his dating stories and emotional reflections in online videos that have gone viral. The woman sitting next to me audibly agreed with the man in the suit who moved from one side of the stage to the other, and seemed most comfortable sitting in an armchair reading questions from his followers.
