Computational gastronomy, Italian culinary heritage, and AI

Food Innovation Broker and CREA, the Italian Council for Agricultural Research and Agricultural Economics Analysis, presented two internationally significant scientific contributions at ICDM 2025, the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining held in Washington.

The papers were showcased during the first edition of the workshop Computational Gastronomy: Data Science for Food and Cooking, known as CoGamy 2025, marking an important milestone for the application of data science and artificial intelligence to Italian culinary heritage, currently a candidate for UNESCO recognition.
