Italian Americans in the Aliquippa area are ready to celebrate their heritage and the feast day of Saint Rocco on Aug. 16 with two separate community events featuring music, food and religious devotion to this patron saint.
The San Rocco Cultural Committee will host its 101st annual San Rocco Festa from 12-9 p.m. Aug. 15 at the Hopewell Community Park, 2500 Laird Drive, Hopewell Township. Admission for children ages 12 and under is free when accompanied by a paying adult, and all children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
