On Jan. 8, 2022, Spokane welcomed its first authentic gelateria, the Tre Palline Gelato Napolitano. Located in the historic Steam Plant commercial complex, the local, family-owned business is situated amid the vibrant action downtown.
Loosely translated to English, the Italian phrase "tre palline gelato" means "three scoops of ice cream." Napolitano is the owner's family name. The gelateria has a rich narrative and the owners, Marco and Ashley Napolitano, love the trade.
