Bova's Bakery In The North End Celebrates 100 Years

A North End bakery in Boston is celebrating 100 years of producing award-winning Italian pastries and treats. Bova's Bakery opened in 1926. It's one of the few food and pastry shops in Boston that is open 24 hours a day.

A big crowd showed up on Tuesday night, including Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Lt. Gov. Kim Driscoll, to take part in a centennial celebration. Bova's famous cannoli were being given out for free to an appreciative crowd.
