Across Lazio, intentional communities, ecovillages and cohousing projects are offering alternatives based on cooperation, shared resources and a closer relationship with nature.
An ecovillage is not simply a rural settlement. Italy’s ecovillage network generally describes it as a community of at least 5 people, not all from the same family, who choose to build a common project around ecological, social, economic or spiritual sustainability.
