Who's in the mood to drive to Land O' Lakes and find a nice spot for a romantic, upscale Italian dinner? Don't everyone raise your hand at once. However ... although you may think that Pasco County is too far a haul from most parts of Hillsborough and Pinellas, Benedetto's is worth the trip.
Somewhat incongruously perched along the roadside on the perimeter of a strip mall in a converted former fast-food restaurant, the exterior (while pleasing enough) didn't prepare me for either the quality of the cuisine or the warm, convivial vibe that awaits within.
