Assemblyman Ed Ra (R-Franklin Square) is proud to announce that the New York Conference of Italian-American State Legislators is now accepting applications for its 2026 scholarship program. These scholarships provide financial assistance to outstanding students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership and community involvement. Applicants do not need to be of Italian descent to be eligible.
Applications for the Sen. James D. Conte Memorial Academic Scholarship and the Sen. John J. Marchi Memorial Athletic Scholarship are now open and will close on March 16, 2026. Each scholarship awards $3,000 to deserving students pursuing higher education.
