AC Milan and Fondazione Milan brought their social and educational mission to New York, taking part in an international initiative aimed at shaping future global leaders. A Rossoneri delegation traveled from Italy to the United States – a key strategic market for the club – to support the training of young people interested in diplomacy and international cooperation.
The event took place during the “Change the World – Model United Nations,” one of the largest youth forums worldwide. More than 4,000 students from over 140 countries gathered at the United Nations headquarters, turning New York into a global hub for dialogue, innovation, and cultural exchange for four days, from March 26 to March 29.
AC Milan’s presence highlighted how sports can go beyond competition and become a powerful educational tool. The club used this platform to promote values such as inclusion, teamwork, and resilience, connecting its identity on the field with broader social impact. Fondazione Milan, which has been active for more than 20 years, continues to invest in projects that combine sports and education to create opportunities for younger generations.
The project also extended beyond institutional settings. Since 2021, Fondazione Milan has supported a soccer program in Harlem involving over 5,000 students, designed to make sports accessible regardless of social or economic background. This initiative reflects a broader commitment from Italy to the US to inclusion, with football serving as a vehicle for education and personal growth.
By engaging with such a large and diverse audience, AC Milan reinforced its global identity, reaching young people from every continent. The initiative demonstrated how a sports organization can contribute to shaping future leaders, combining athletic values with education and international dialogue.
