At 940 Battery Street, the SF Museo Italo Americano is working to create a new home for Italian and Italian-American culture in the heart of the city. The Consulate General was proud to host a special gala supporting the project and its fundraising campaign, together with the Istituto Italiano Cultura SF.
More than a museum, the new Casa Italia will celebrate the extraordinary contribution of the Italian-American community to San Francisco while creating a space for Italian art, culture, heritage, and contemporary creativity.
Many thanks to Executive Director Sandra Bagnatori and the entire Museo Italo Americano team for the work already accomplished and for their commitment to bringing this vision to life.
Italian American heritage. Contemporary Italian culture. One home in San Francisco.
