For classical music lovers, it is a true legend, somewhat like Diego Armando Maradona for soccer fans. The legendary Messiah Stradivarius, the most valuable and famous violin in the world, will be displayed in Cremona at the Violin Museum until December 18.
The musical instrument was built by Antonio Stradivari in 1716, in the midst of the Golden Age of the renowned master violin maker's production. The Messiah is a "collector's item," seldom played and very jealously kept by its owners.
