Via della Spiga, Milan
Via della Spiga is part of Milan’s fashion district and it is known for being one of the city’s most famous streets. It was created at the end of the 18th century, and its name comes from the Italian word spiga, wheat ear, because the area had been known originally for its cereal fields.
