His heels top every woman's lust-list, and his sneakers have become a must-have staple amongst every self-respecting hip hop artist. Giuseppe Zanotti, the San Mauro Pascoli-born Italian creative, whose sexy heels and gold plated sneaks, find their way to the red carpet, just as easily as they find their way to the street. I meet with Zanotti in the men's section of his designer shoe universe: the Zanotti showroom in Milan, located on the Italian fashion capital's premier high-end shopping street Via Monte Napoleone.

Zanotti designed his first collection in 1994, which came out the following year. Even though he is amongst world's most respected shoe designers today, the former radio DJ had to struggle for seven years prior to finding his path in fashion.
