Rome top Italian city for foreign visitors

Rome was the most popular Italian city for foreign tourists during the first six months of this year, according to data compiled by leading online hotel reservation company

The capital was particularly popular with Russian visitors, as well as tourists from Argentina, France, Spain and the US. Venice came in second place on the list, followed by Milan, Florence, Sorrento, Bologna, Naples, Verona, Alghero and Pisa.
