The Advanced Radiation Oncology Department at the IRCCS in Negrar, in the province of Verona, Veneto, has become the first in Europe to adopt a software capable of detecting tumor images with exceptional quality and irradiating them with extreme precision in just six seconds, while safeguarding healthy tissues.
This modern technology makes it possible to treat many solid tumors, whether in the early or metastatic stages, such as those of the prostate, lung, pancreas, and liver. The Made-in-Italy software is called Hypersight, and it integrates and enhances Ethos, another Italian medical excellence powered by artificial intelligence, which is described as "adaptive."
