The 250% superamortization of investments in new machinery seems to be working just fine and is helping companies working in the sector rack up purchase orders at a pace that had long been forgotten. Optimism on the impact of the measure was evident at a conference in Milan with more than 300 business owners and managers that was streamed live yesterday.
The success of the event, organized by UCIMU-Systems for Production (the industry association), wasn’t a complete surprise because it was focused on the key theme of the sector for 2017: how to take advantage of tax incentives for Industry 4.0.
