Eduitalia, an Association of 86 qualified Schools, Academies and Universities that offer courses for foreign students in Italy, is proud to support the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C., in its important initiative to promote Italian language and culture within the United States. The grants will allow winners to live an unforgettable study experience in Italy.
ALL STUDENTS taking the AP Italian Language and Culture exam are eligible. After gathering teacher feedback, the Education Offices of the Consular network will select grant recipients from the most deserving students. The 21 grants include: enrolment, classes, accommodation, teaching material and extracurricular activities. PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
All interested students who wish to participate in this grant program in Italy must complete the following applications no later than April 20th 2018. If you are over 18 years old, please fill out the following application. If you are under 18 years old, please have your parent/guardian fill out the following application.
The Education Office at the Embassy of Italy in Washington D.C. will examine the applications and define the territorial distribution of the study grants assigned to U.S. students. Winners will be selected no later than May 25th 2018 and will be notified by email.
Winners accepting the grant must show proof of participation in the AP Italian Language and Culture exam 2018.
The study grants award ceremony will take place at the Italian General Consulate of New York in the third week of October. This event will be live-streamed via Skype in other consular/diplomatic offices, where the Ambassador or his Delegate, along with the Director of the Eduitalia and other cultural personalities, will attend.
