Two different ways of (re)viewing Dante. Canticle 21 is the contemporary art project that was launched thanks to a joint effort by MAECI and the Ministry of Culture to promote research regarding the visual arts. Within this initiative, a special section is devoted to the Poet. This section is made up of five projects inspired by Dante’s persona, works, and philosophy, by artists Silvia Camporesi, Marta Roberti, Valentina Furian, Leone Contini and Marinella Senatore.
The Dante 700 exhibition (curated by photo reporter Massimo Sestini, which will be inaugurated at the Quirinale and then move on to Florence and the most important European capitals) presents a photo essay that explores places linked to Dantesque memory, immortalized through an innovative gaze and cutting-edge techniques.
