Mama Mia's Italian Restaurant staved off its eviction after Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Edie Connelly ruled in favor of the restaurant that had been stuck in a prolonged court battle.
On Monday, Connelly ruled that the eviction notice submitted by Janet Maass, landlord and manager of The Colonade Shopping Center, where the restaurant is located on FM 2978, was invalid.
