The origin of STEFANO VERSACE HOLDINGS began with an idea from its founder, Stefano Versace, to give life to an Italian gelato shop chain called: STEFANO VERSACE – GELATERIE ITALIANE & GOURMET. The overall objective of the chain is to introduce to the American consumer an authentic Italian gelato referred to in Italy as "Gelato Artigianale Italiano".
The first store opening occurred on November 16, 2013 in the Miami International mall, which is one of the most historic shopping centers found in Miami. This was followed by the second location in the Coconut Point mall (Estero-Naples) and the third location in the Westfield Mall (Plantation).
