When town officials first announced in January 2020 that the new Italian eatery Ecco was coming to town, it was pitched as an exciting piece of the renovation of Long Hill Green. But now, much of the new Long Hill Market is open for business, and Ecco is still dark. That won’t be the case for long, according to Dan Camporeale, a partner in Ecco.
He said the restaurant should open in roughly three weeks, and that he and his partners are just waiting for a few finishing touches to fall into place. These finishing “touches” include things like furniture. “Someone will tell you that your chairs will be there on Tuesday, but what they don’t tell you is, which Tuesday?” said Camporeale. He said most of the major pieces of the business are in place.
