A new bar and Italian spot, offering pizza and more, has opened its doors in the neighborhood. The newcomer to Downtown, called Pomodoro, is located at 15 E. Maryland St. Pomodoro has pizza, pasta and wine. The restaurant serves authentic Italian cuisine like meatballs, Neapolitan style wood fire pizzas, bolognese and more.
With a 3.5-star rating out of five reviews on Yelp so far, the new bar is getting mixed feedback from clientele. And Andrew M. wrote, "What a large and beautiful place, staff was super nice. Order and pay at the counter and seat yourself. Full bar and an exciting menu. We had the margarita pizza and a Caesar salad, the staff brought us out a plate of tiramisu."
