
"Truffles & Treasures of Italy" is an exclusive culinary tour, which will focus on Italy's celebrated white truffles, exquisite regional cuisine, and artistic treasures in Umbria, Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. Mirepoix USA, a leading online purveyor of specialty gourmet foods, has announced that the company's tour is confirmed for October 20 – November 4, 2013, with eight participants currently registered. The tour is limited to a maximum of fourteen participants.
"Truffles & Treasures of Italy" begins Sunday, October 20, 2013 in Rome, and concludes on Monday, November 4, in Milan. November 2 - 4 are an optional extension to Piedmont for the Truffle Festival in Alba. The tour includes three nights in Assisi, three nights in Bologna, one night in Polesine Parmense (on the Po River near Zibello), six nights in Vorno (near Lucca), and two optional nights in Grinzane Cavour (near Alba). Mirepoix USA's culinary tour includes exclusive tastings, chef-led cooking demonstrations, private guides in every city, dining at Michelin-starred restaurants and accommodations in unique, four and five-star properties such as Nun Assisi Relais and Spa Museum and the Grand Hotel Majestic in Bologna.
