The Italian Place, a woman-owned Italian market based in Old Town Alexandria, will expand to a second location at the Mosaic District. The opening at 2984 District Avenue #190 in Fairfax is slated for July 10.
The first Italian Place location opened in Old Town Alexandria in 2016 to meet a need for authentic Italian markets in the area. Founded by Adriana Penachio-Sifakis, The Italian Place offers Italian subs, pizza, and gourmet market items.
