Lampo's Neapolitan food and its signature pizza scissors have made it a staple in the Charlottesville food scene.
"It's definitely not the traditional New York slice by any stretch of the imagination," said Lampo co-owner Andrew Cole.
Lampo is the five-year-old brainchild of two pizza lovers, who were always craving Neapolitan-style pizza."It's the true embodiment of pizza if you ask me," said Cole. "It's done with really simple ingredients and is about you know, like most Italian food, about embodying the best possible ingredients we can get."
