Executive Chef Jim Guasto of Pittston brought his expertise to the kitchen at 279 Bar and Grill in Plains Township about four months ago.
Prior to that post, he honed his culinary skills at the Glenmaura National Golf Club in Moosic. He brings a fresh outlook to Luzerne County's food scene and frequently hosts his fellow chefs at the restaurant.
