Il Fornaio has recently been honored with the Marchio Qualita Award by the Italian Chambers of Commerce in Italy. The "Marchio Q" is granted by the Marchio Ospitalita' – Ristoranti Italiani nel Mondo, an initiative conceived by UNIONCAMERE (National Association of the Chambers of Commerce in Italy) in collaboration with ISNART (National Institute for Touristic Researches) and the Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad, an association of Italian and local entrepreneurs and professionals.

The goal of this award is to create a worldwide network of Italian restaurants that respect the outstanding standards of Italian hospitality, develop and promote the traditions of the Italian agricultural and food products and enhance Italian food culture.
