A new heating, ventilating and air conditioning company has opened its doors in Verona, the first U.S.-based plant for an Italian company. The Italy-based Provides invested $6.1 million to establish its first U.S. manufacturing operation, Provides US, Inc., which added 18 jobs.
As the facility continues to ramp up production, 45 total jobs will be located at the Verona site, a release said. Provides is co-located with Daikin Applied in Verona in a 40,000-square-foot space. Provides is a major supplier for Daikin. Daikin had been having to import the heat exchangers from Provides overseas.
