An Italian retailer with a distinct approach to linen resortwear is now open on Worth Avenue. Amate opened in the fall in a spot at 333 Worth Ave., the brand’s first location in the United States after launching in Italy seven years ago. For a brand rooted in the resort lifestyle, Palm Beach was the natural choice for that first store in the states, said Rachele Landozzi, Amate’s founder.
“We started in summer resort locations, and of course, Palm Beach represents very well this kind of philosophy,” she said. The store in Via Mizner offers a range of clothes and accessories, all featuring Amate’s signature Italian linen: dresses, shirts, pants, sun hats and more.
