Science Writer Fellowships

Mar 08, 2013 1570

The Giovanni Armenise-Harvard Foundation, in conjunction with the Italian Science Writers Association (UGIS), offers a Science Writers Fellowship Program for young Italian science writers working in Italy.

Each year two Italian science writers at the beginning or mid-career are selected to spend a week in June or July at Harvard Medical School. Science Writer Fellows have the opportunity to interview top HMS researchers from diverse fields, tour laboratories, attend Armenise-Harvard and/or HMS symposia and conferences, meet science writers from the HMS community, and work with editors at HMS. Successful candidates, who will be asked to join UGIS, must be available to travel to Boston for the week of June 16 through 23, 2013.
