Rita's Italian Ice is expanding with new locations to open throughout the Windy City in Illinois. Chicago Ice Empire, LLC has been named as the area developer for DuPage, Will and Cook counties for Rita's Franchise Company, which currently has no footprint in Illinois, although having over 600 locations worldwide.

Chicago's area developers are working closely with Rita's corporate to grow the brand within a designated geographic region. They have a vested interest to ensure each location maintains the brand's standards and delivers Ice, Custard and Happiness to every guest.
