This year's Spoleto Festival USA in Charleston took in nearly $3 million at the box office. The festival also said Wednesday that about 63,000 tickets were sold for the 160 events staged during the 17-day run of the festival.
Festival officials say Spoleto means about $50 million in economic impact for the Charleston area.
