The Italian American Club's Charitable Foundation is sponsoring its first ever "Fashionably Pink" fundraiser. Proceeds will benefit the Shades of Pink Foundation, a non-profit organization that helps women who are undergoing medical treatment for breast cancer, www.shadesofpinkfoundation.org.
"One of the main features of our Fashionably Pink Fashion Show is that all of the models, except those from Roma Sposa, are breast cancer survivors and will be sharing their stories of hope and courage with the audience," said event organizer Anna Giammarco. WDIV-TV 4 News Reporter Nick Monacelli will be the master of ceremonies at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at the Italian American Club, 39200 5 Mile Road, Livonia.
