Another national website has named Chatham's own Scalini Fedeli the most romantic restaurant in New Jersey. The upscale Italian eatery has topped the distinction of Most Romantic Restaurant from The Daily Meal, which honored one restaurant from each of the 50 states. It was previously named one of the most romantic in the country by OpenTable.
Scalini Fedeli first opened in 1995 inside of a 260-year-old farm house. It has received rave reviews from critics over the years, including from New York Times and Zagat. It's currently the highest rated Italian restaurant in the state, according to OpenTable.
