Yet another huge Italian celebration has returned to New Jersey. The 87th Annual Hoboken Italian Festival, otherwise known as the Feast of the Madonna dei Martiri, kicked off in style yesterday at Sinatra Park along the Hoboken waterfront.
The four-day event offers festivalgoers a delicious variety of Italian delicacies, live music and entertainment, eating contests, a grape stomping competition, rides and a spectacular fireworks display.
The festival will include daily entertainment with the highlight happening tomorrow with a day long procession through the streets of Hoboken.
