Benefiting beginner and seasoned genealogists alike, this workshop will provide guidance on acquiring Italian American dual citizenship and beginning your family research in Italy.
This instructional workshop will also include guidance on using the History Center's Italian American Collection to contextualize your local family history here in Western Pennsylvania. Experts from the Diocese of Pittsburgh Archives and Records Center, the Pennsylvania Department of the Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, North Hills Genealogists, Roots in the Boot, Green Tree Family History Center, Western Pennsylvania Genealogical Society, and Istituto Mondo Italiano will share information on resources available locally to enhance your genealogical research. Representatives from each will be on hand to share best practices and tips with fellow researchers.
