Italian culture and cuisine will be celebrated during Belmar’s fifth annual Feast of San Gennaro, to be held on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17. The three-block area of Main Street between 10th and 13th Avenues will serve as the festival’s hub from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on both days.
Attendees will enjoy a plethora of authentic Italian food choices, a beer and wine garden, contests and games, children’s activities, and performances by top-notch musicians and dancers. The celebration will kick off at 10 a.m. Saturday with a Mass of San Gennaro at St Rose Church, followed by the traditional procession as the statue of San Gennaro is brought to the festival on Main Street.
