It all started in December 2013. Our Team had very little money, but also a lot of great friends, some extraordinary artistic material and one bold ambition: to create the first permanent 'Casa Teatrale Italiana' in NYC, where the best of Italian Theater and the power of live performances would help especially the young to nurture their dreams, discover their identity and build a better world.
Fast-forward to May 2015.
After an intense year-and-a-half of numerous and original Theater shows, both off-Broadway and in Little Italy, plus several Theater workshops run in schools all around the Big Apple and in the Tri-state Area, here we are with a brand new Manhattan location, where Italy and its newest, freshest and most provocative artistic expressions will finally find their permanent 'home sweet home'.
A 'pre-launch' of the italytime Theater will take place on May 14th and 15th, with a new show - 'INCREDIBLE STORIES', by Aldo Nicolaj. The spectator will enter into a universe of original characters, which are proud to present their stories, affirming their own particular personality, mortified by sad life events. Bitter or tragic stories we know all too well that, through the playwright's perspective, become also comic and suggestive.
