The celebrated Connecticut Lyric Opera and Connecticut Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra will perform Puccini's opera,"La Boheme" at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, in Middletown's Santo Fragilio Performing Arts Center, 200 LaRosa Lane.
The Greater Middletown Concert Association is sponsoring the performance as part of its current season. The story of the Italian opera "La Boheme" by Giacomo Puccini takes place in Paris around 1820. It shows the Bohemian lifestyle of four struggling artists friends (a writer, a painter, a musician and a philosopher).
