Much of the talk this off-season has centred around the homecoming of LeBron James and the anticipated injury comebacks of Derrick Rose and Kobe Bryant while Danilo Gallinari's long-awaited return of his own, back into the NBA fold, has somewhat slipped under the radar.

The Italian is set to make his first competitive appearance for the Denver Nuggets in 18 months as they take on Detroit in their season opener. It's been a long time coming in the delayed recovery from a torn ACL in his left knee and understandably, 'Gallo' can't wait to get going again.
