Festivities will be held in Ishpeming for this year's Italian Fest on Saturday, July 26. Here's what you can expect. The event, held by the St. Rocco-St. Anthony Society of Ishpeming, is free, family-friendly and open to the public. Plenty of Italian and American food will be served throughout the day at the venue: the Al Quaal Recreation Area.
While attendees listen to live music from local and regional performers, they can take part in the ring toss, balloon darts or bingo. A giant slide and bounce house will be available for the youngsters and those who are more adventurous can enter the greased pole competition for a chance to win $100.
