The Cineforum 2015, our monthly screening of Italian movies, remembers and honors the recent loss of one of the greatest Italian actresses, Virna Lisi, with one of the films that made her famous. Pietro Germi's film centers on three stories exposing the sexual secrets of the Italian town of Treviso. One of the stories features bank clerk Osvaldo Bisigato (Gastone Moschin) who decides to leave his wife (Nora Ricci) to move in with his mistress Milena (Virna Lisi), a cafe cashier. Treviso's jealous husbands unite and have both of them fired and arrested. Director: Pietro Germi. Italy, 1966, 114 m. Film in Italian with English subtitles.
