Italian trio Il Volo to play Heinz Hall

Il Volo, the Italian opera trio, will perform Sept. 11 at Heinz Hall, Downtown. The group's members — Piero Barons, 19, Gianluca Ginoble, 18, and Ignazio Boschetto, 18 — gained million of fans when the singers performed on the 2012 PBS special "Il Volo Takes Flight."
They also were special guests during Barbra Streisand's 2012 tour. The singers are returning to North America for a series of 17 summer concerts.
