I Solisti Veneti, one of the most popular Italian Chamber Orchestras, celebrated its 55th anniversary during the 2014/2015 concert season. It was founded by Claudio Scimone in 1959. Under his musical direction and leadership, it quickly rose to the international level and gained admiration from both the audiences and critics. I Solisti Veneti performed at over 6,000 concerts in over 90 Countries, participated in International Festivals, recorded over 350 LPs, CDs and DVDs, and took part to a rich selection of cultural and promotional activities, and musical and historical publications.
