Fri, June 18, 2021. 8:00 PM – 9:00 PM CEST. ONline event. Organized by the Italian Cultural Center of San Diego. SDIFF Artistic Director Antonio Iannotta will be in conversation with "Luca" director Enrico Casarosa (of Pixar's 2011 Oscar-nominated short "La Luna), producer Andrea Warren ("Lava," "Cars 3"), actor Marco Barricelli (voice of Massimo in the film), and Beatrice Basso, linguistic and cultural consultant on "Luca" and ICC event coordinator.
Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, "Luca" is a coming-of-age story about two friends' summer of unforgettable fun that's threatened by their deeply-held secret: they are sea monsters from another world. "Luca" debuts exclusively on Disney+ for all subscribers on June 18, 2021.
