The Mahoning Valley Italian American Sports Hall of Fame named its first Woman of the Year on Thursday at a banquet at Ciminero's Banquet Center.
She is Karen Infante Allen of Niles, who currently serves as the Trumbull County Clerk of Courts.
Her brother Ralph is the mayor of Niles and was Man of the Year in 2003.
