National Italian wine importer, Santa Margherita USA Inc., has announced the release of three sparkling wines. Two bottlings, their Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore Brut DOCG, and Santa Margherita Sparkling Rosé, re-enter the marketplace with a redesigned bottle, label and communications campaign, "Uncork Extraordinary".
Their third, Santa Margherita "Rive di Refrontolo" Prosecco SuperioreDOCG, a small production, single vineyard 2016 vintage, will debut for the first time in the United States. Santa Margherita's winemaking tradition has a long-standing history in the production of sparkling wine, having made Prosecco in the Conegliano Valdobbiadene region since 1952, prior to even the region's official DOCG classification in 1969.
